BW: What first got you interested in skincare?

AM: I kind of just fell into skincare. After attending massage school out of college, my eyes were opened to a whole new side of the medical and treatment world.  After practicing massage therapy for about 5 years, I decided to attend aesthetic school because I love all the “science of skincare”. I wanted to further study what I was putting on my skin.  Through my years of education and experience, I enjoy the challenge of helping others on their skin health journey. I have learned that when we experience imbalance internally, emotionally, physically, or with in your lifestyle, your skin will show it!

BW: What makes your approach to esthetics different?

AM: My approach to skincare has evolved through the years.  I started out my skincare journey in the spa setting, focusing more on integrating relaxation with skincare treatments. BW: What kind of training have you had?

AM: After becoming a Massage Therapist in 2001, I became a Licensed Esthetician in 2005 and earned my Master Aesthetician License in 2012. Along the way I’ve completed advanced certifications in Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning & Skinceuticals Clinical Procedures, Obagi Advanced Medical Peels, Sciton Laser Technician Level 1, Advanced Fotofacial and Laser Peels, Collagen Induction therapy & Microneedling,  and PCA Skin Certification. I’m also a Certified Acne Specialist and Holistic Skincare Specialist. I use all my training to integrate medical corrective skincare treatments with holistic wellness to bring balance, reduced skin inflammation allowing true skin repair.

BW: What benefits have you gotten from the treatments?

AM: I experienced melasma after my 3rd baby and a long course of medications.  I initially tried all the prescription HQ topical lighters and watched as my skin became red, dehydrated, a
