After what seems like the longest winter ever, nice weather is upon us.  And what better way to cool off on a warm day than with a delicious dish of ice cream.

One of my all-time favorite foods, these dairy free treats will hopefully make your summer days a little brighter!

Luna & Larry’s Coconut Bliss: I love this ice cream and have been recommending it to clients for years.  It is the first dairy free ice cream that I bought and I really enjoy the taste and the texture. Since it’s been around for so long, it proves that it has stood the test of time.

Cashew Milk: I am not a huge fan of almond milk or almond milk products, so when they started making cashew milk I was in my glory. This has been my go-to ice cream since it came out. I prefer the So Delicious name brand and the chocolate chunk.

Nada Moo: I found this last weekend at Wegman’s and it is SOOO good!! They have a few flavors, but this is the one my 13 year old step-son settled on. Therefore it’s kid-friendly!! An extra bonus, it’s gluten free.  And organic. So I guess that’s a lot of bonuses. 😉

Ben and Jerry’s: What more can I say? It’s Ben and Jerry’s! They make a really great dairy free ice cream option. The Cherry Garcia is delightful! They use almond milk, which I mentioned above that I don’t typically like, but they have done a really nice job with their dairy free option. Just be sure to read labels so you don’t get it confused with their regular dairy ice cream.

Beyond Ice Cream: This product will not be for everyone but I LOVED it! It’s plant-based, made from hemp milk, and low in calories so there is NO GUILT!! The chunks of chocolate, in my opinion, balanced everything out. This is offered in several flavors but I will always choose something with chocolate. 😉
