A few months ago I found these guys and have been obsessed with them ever since. They are Certified USDA organic, non-GMO, and have 7 grams of plant-based protein. They have a low glycemic index which means they take longer to digest for prolonged energy. They work well as a pre-workout snack. There are a variety of flavors but I like the Coconut-Almond Butter best!
I have written before that I am not a huge fan of ‘snack bars’. Many are highly processed with very little nutritional value. I like these bars specifically because they contain 4-5 ingredients and the packaging says No B.S.! I will grab one of these in a pinch when I need something to snack on between meals. I rarely buy pre-packaged shake, but these are really good. They are 100% plant-based (no soy), 150 calories, 9 grams of carbs, 6 grams of sugar, and pack 18 grams of protein per serving. I sometimes use them after a work-out if I am not going home right away. They are also great for traveling!
