Upon arising: freshly squeezed juice of ½ lemon in glass of room temperature water

Breakfast (choose one)

Detox Scramble: 2 eggs scramble with onion, garlic, and broccoli

3 slices of bacon, ½ avocado,  1 cup spinach in a gluten-free wrap

2-3 hard-boiled eggs, ½ grapefruit, 2 tbsp. hemp seeds

2 pieces of gluten-free toast with 2 tbsp. nut butter

½  cup gluten free oats, ½ cup berries, small handful of nuts

Small piece of salmon with diced sweet potato sautéed with peppers and onions and kale

Protein smoothie with frozen berries and coconut milk

Lunch and Dinner (choose one)

1 small chicken breast, large green salad with sprouts, basil, strawberries, 2 tbsp. dressing (oil and vinegar preferred)

Baked chicken with 2 tbsp. salsa, 1 cup broccoli

1 cup black bean soup, large salad with 2 tbsp. dressing (oil and vinegar preferred)

Chopped cabbage with 4 oz. grilled diced chicken and 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

Shrimp and veggies sautéed in pan with coconut oil and garlic. Serve over ½ cup gluten free pasta or zucchini noodles (ask Angie about how to make these)

 Broiled pork chop, 1 cup of cooked veggie of choice, ½ cup cooked brown rice

 Chicken salad (or egg or tuna) with 2 tbsp. real mayo (or veganaise if you are allergic to eggs), chopped celery and onions, on a gluten-free bagel or gluten-free wrap

 4 oz. grass-fed steak, 1 cup roasted cauliflower, small baked potato with olive oil and salsa


Raw organic almonds, brazil nuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts

Boars Head ham or turkey wraps (you can roll them in lettuce)

Beef jerky (Trader Joe’s has great jerky!)

Vegetables and hummus

Hard-boiled eggs

Gluten-free crackers with peanut butter or other nut butter

Fruit such as berries, oranges, apples, pears, peaches. Fresh are best.


Hot lemon water with ¼ fresh lemon juice and 1 pinch of cayenne pepper

Seltzer counts towards your total water intake

Tomato juice and 8 oz. freshly prepared beet juice 1-2x per day

Fresh Green Vegetable Juice if you prefer, optional

Herbal teas: Rooibos, Ginseng, Ginger, Chamomile, Dandelion root

Suggestions and Goals

To maximize liver wellness, try to use all organic foods and free range organic meats.  Include good sources of water-soluble fibers (pears, oat bran, apples).
