I have always had challenges with my weight. During my college years I saved money by skipping the meal plan and “cooking” for no milkmyself. I lived on yogurt, grilled cheese sandwiches made in my room, wrapped in aluminum foil and heated with an iron (pre- microwave days!) and tomato soup. Other staples included lots of cheese and eggs, both quick, easy and tasty.

Fast forward to a few years ago. My weight started to balloon for no apparent reason. I applied my tried and true techniques for weight loss that had worked for me in the past, and there was no change. Boy, was I frustrated!

It’s has been nearly 5 years since I have eaten much dairy or eggs. I now have an egg as a treat, or a bite of cheese, but that’s about all.
